kitchen inspiration

earlier this week ms craftapalooza posted abut her nigella lawson kitchen treats and mentioned that she picked them up here at great prices. i'm so thankful that she posted that link because i headed straight over there and picked myself up a set of 6 enamel coated utensils, regularly priced at $160, for $16. SIXTEEN DOLLARS, people - pure craziness!

a little nigella

i love them so, love of all of nigella's kitchenware, in fact, but can't afford most of it. these lovelies are going to be my base and inspiration for the kitchen reno we will be starting mid-next year (yes, folks, there's probably another year or more of renovation talks to be had here, my apologies in advance).

thanks for all the white confirmation, it helped sweep all doubt out of the way. i went and picked up my paint today - dulux half strength fair bianca for the walls, it is! and while i was out, i stopped quickly at the salvation army and st vinnies nearby and found all sorts of treasure, including (another) beautiful chair that i can't wait to strip, wax and sew a new cover for. pics tomorrow!

  1. Gorgeous utensils, although I have to say if I could buy something of Nigella's it would be her impressive boobs. Now that's a set I'd pay money for...
    I love your floors too.

  9. Great kitchenware! And that's a great shop, too. Some of us sydneysiders go there when we set up a new kitchen, as the prices are really good. Can't wait to see your chair renovation.
