introducing...

congratulations to my good buddy sarah who will be welcoming the very first windsee into her toronto abode in the next week or so! i seriously spent about 2 hours mulling over names last night - there were so many brilliant ones! ones i loved! but "windsy" had been popping into my head all week and when i played around with the spelling to make it windsee, which sort of ties in with oobee, i was sold. plus it reminds me of the gorgeous "windy" book, which in turn reminds me of vancouver as i first saw it in the lovely shop eugene choo on main street - so there you have it.

i again sincerely thank everyone who took the time to leave me their suggestions, i wish i could send every single one of you a windsee!

  1. Yipppeeee!!!!!! All of the suggestions were so excellent that it must have been extremely difficult - I don't envy you that choice. I'm soooo excited and can't wait to introduce Windsee to our two Oobees Cordy and Tippy-toe! Tony and I also love the Windy books, which are just so beautiful and heartfelt. Plus picture books that come with pretty CD's are extra wondrous. Enjoy the rest of your week-end! Miss you heaps!
    Love Sarah

  2. Hi Leslie,
Thanks for a great blog. Ive just started blogging and wanted to add you to my list of "Others I like to read". Is that ok? Im not sure whether I'm supposed to ask, but thought it would be the polite thing to do. Would you mind advising of correct blogger etiquette?
    Regards
