I am really excited about this swap and am going to start pinning some ideas!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for including my tutorial! I sorry to have to miss the swap this time round.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting excited about this project and I have some ink questions and need a little direction. I haven't been super happy with the fabric ink I have so I am thinking I want to go with screen printing ink with a block print. Would I be better off using a foam roller or flat (like with paper)? How about the work surface - put a piece of foam under the fabric so it has a little give? I haven't used lino on fabric so any insights would be helpful! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica, I know a lot of people use a normal brayer (rollert thingy) but I've actually had my best results by dabbing the ink on evenly with a foam brush (available at any art/craft shop, super cheap). I've never put anything under my fabric for block printing but who knows, it may help! Let us know if you give it a try!
