hey iris, the balloons is a canvas fabric that i got from leslie good http://goodness.typepad.com/goodness/ when she was still living in japan and had her etsy fabric shop. i have a pretty large chunk of it left but strangely, there is no selvedge on any of it (?) so i have no idea who makes it or what it is called - sorry : (
