a bunch of stuff...

i have been meaning to post about:

::my poppet:: my lovely friend cintia is closing down her caulfield shop to focus on the online side of her business and, more importantly, her sweet one year old daughter! the shop, which sells gorgeous, unique kid's clothes and accessories, is set to shut mid-june and she is having all sorts of sales and bargains to clear a bit of stock - check out her blog or facebook page for sale alerts. lots o' good stuff to be had!

::eight hair:: another wonderful friend, dana and her husband, pete have finally opened their own little hair and makeup salon in their studio in yarraville. they've done it up beautifully and i had the pleasure of having my hair cut in the salon last week. pete did the usual amazing job with my lid and i just wanted to recommend him to anyone looking for a damn good hair stylist. dana and pete have heaps of experience doing wedding hair and makeup as a team as well, if anyone is on the search.

::onegirl shop update:: my sincerest apologies to anyone who missed out on an oobee at my shop update yesterday! a very lovely repeat customer who has purchased 5 or 6 oobees from me in the past got in touch last week and, when i sent her a sneak peek of what i had available, she snapped up the whole lot. the oobees will be going to loving homes with her grandkids and, as i've been contacted by a couple of people who missed out, i am thinking about trying to whip up a couple more in the next few weeks. we have family here from canada for most of may and i have only SIX WEEKS left until baby two arrives so i don't know how realistic this is but i've had quite a bit more energy lately... we'll see!
