and to all a good night...

summertime baxy

i'm going to officially sign off for a little while to enjoy the crazy australian christmas heat (going to be 31ºC today and i will be roasting a christmas eve turkey in our non-air conditioned kitchen - woo hoo!), a sooky, teething toddler (sleeping is not on the agenda much during times of teething but crankiness and vomit are - merry christmas!) and crazy amounts of food but sadly no drink. and while i may sound bitter, it's really all just a front. i know that i am ridiculously lucky to be living the life that i am living here, in australia, with an amazing, supportive and good humoured husband (quite cute, too) and a goofball little mama's girl who prefers me to all others (except maybe the dog). to be able to stay at home with my daughter and future child and to have found something that keeps me continually inspired and itching to create (sewing, of course).

while my shop is going to be closed until mid-january (my mom is coming to visit for two weeks - yippee!!!!!), i may be back around these parts sooner, we'll just have to see. i hope you all have a truly wonderful christmas and new year's, with good friends, family and lots of food (and drink).

  10. How are you enjoying this Australian Summer, we've put on a super hot one for you!!
Have you tried frozen teething rings?? They did the trick for my 4 & a little soothing gel, they don't need much?? I'm pretty sure my son cut a tooth ON my knuckle once. Good luck, before you know it she'll be losing teeth!! Love Posie
