baby & kids market

mini vans

oooooh, i had a great old time at the baby & kids market in hawthorn this morning - despite weaving in and out between hundreds of prams, baby bjorns and competing bellies. so many ridiculously cute clothes (for both babies, kids and expectant moms - i picked up a great wool hoodie and tunic dress, both from old navy maternity) and all sorts of handy baby related items. i went in mainly looking for practical things like breast pumps and baby monitors and came out mainly with adorable things like baby clothes, maternity clothes and a couple of toys. i got the crazy cute mini vans above still in their box for a mere $5 - and i have to guiltily admit that i snapped them up thinking they would be perfect for wee leon but after fondling them and imagining them with tiny jeans and pink t-shirt, i don't think i can bear to part with them. sorry, dana! so i still am no closer to outfitting the nursery (not that it's ready to be outfit, anyway)... i guess i'll just have to go to next month's market in camberwell, too : )

i highly recommend anyone in melbourne with kids to check it out, their website has all details for 2008s scheduled markets.
