good stuff::1

i hereby declare this "good stuff week" on this here old blog. i have so many great things in my life, so much good stuff and i feel the need to take account, in no order whatsoever.

my 14 month old monkey is supremely good stuff. a red-car-pushing, outdoor-loving, uh-oh-saying, dog-harassing, cute-as-a-button bunch o' good stuff. sure she still gets me up twice a night but when i get the happy, sweet, cheeky day time girl who's been around lately, i don't mind so much. she loves apples and cucumber, enjoys most food really, holds baxter's leash when we go for a walk, wants to be outside in any capacity, has a few cute dances up her sleeve, lives for peekaboo, MAN, she loves peekaboo, hysterically laughing loves it and will peek out at me from between chair rungs and the corner of the sofa. cute. so cute and so funny, my little sweety pea : )

vintage doll stroller

i don't usually frequent garage sales. i'm too lazy to find the addresses or follow the signs on the road but yesterday i was making a stop at a church op shop and there was a garage sale three doors down. among other goodies, i scored yet another project - a vintage doll stroller that has been redone in bright 80s fabric and, i feel, desperately needs to be redone again in something a little more age appropriate. i'm thinking a vintage floral or a nice soft pink polka dot oilcloth that i have squirreled away. and it was, of course, a bargain. i saw the exact same doll stroller for $50 at savers the day before and this one was only $12. i have no idea when i will get around to all these mae projects, good thing she doesn't care about this kind of stuff yet, i have some time...

::costco::
spring quiche

i know it's a love it or hate it kinda thing but we finally went to costco today and damn, it was good stuff. i've been in canada, of course, so i was super excited for this one to open in docklands, a mere 10 minutes drive for us. not everything is cheaper or practical (1kg can of baked beans anyone?) but free range eggs, organic coffee and australian grown fruits and veggies are a bargain and inspired our spring themed dinner for tonight - asparagus, spinach and feta quiche. yummy. thanks, costco.

  3. Awww. Nice images. 14 month olds are the most delightful little people. A little bit baby, a little bit toddler...and what is it with peekaboo? It's like chasings...apparantly a hilarous game that should have no end.

  4. Gorgeous photos!

    We have been enjoying the shiny new Costco too. I am loving my 5 litres of Tide. Oh and the fact that you must be able to buy that massive jar of Kirkland cashews at any Costco store!
